2008 Skyline GTR Thoughts?

I'm not talking about the manufacturers themselves, I'm talking about the models...the GT-R is pretty much Skyline heritage and is made for out-of-the-box racing whereas the LF-A will be more like "go fast with luxary." Sorry, I worded my idea wrong...

I gotcha, the problem is the fact that all Toyota has to do is say "the LF-A needs to be faster than the GTR" and BAM it's done, they have too much money and too many racing engineers. They wouldn't even need to put that much effort into it.

if toyota wanted to build a 700k supercar that would smoke any production car,they probably could....but i think the LF-A will deff take the GT-R and the NSX

Yea but the LF-A will probably be over 150k and the GTR will cost less than 80K, its a super car on a budget. Id take the GTR, plus it has a racing pedigree.

Please define for me what a supercar is......

the carrera gt ran it in 7:32.44, 7:38 is pretty damn close, and i never said it was faster than the carrera gt.

Why? just because you dont like em. That isn't enough reason to not call a zo6 or a GTR a supercar, I dont like the diablo or the xj220 but they are supercars none the less.

Super cars have a vent (air duct) requirement too!

Take a look at the Saleen S7, amount of vents was taken into consideration when building.

hmm lets think here, you said the zo6 was a supercar killer then wouldn't that imply that a the zo6 is atleast equivalent or maybe better than most supercars. Then doesn't that make a zo6 a supercar in its own right? Im sorry but ill jump in front of the marta bus.
