    Default Time for another car.

In the past 2-3 years, I've own a 1999 Honda Accord LX coupe [auto], a 99 Prelude SH, and a 00 Civic EX coupe [5spd]. Wouldn't say I'm completely done with Hondas, but looking for something different. Don't really want to spend more than $8k. If I do, I would want a car that I could make payments on.

Looking for a great daily driver, not really looking for a car to make numbers. I would probably add a few bolts on, but would concentrate more on looks and suspension. What kind of car would you recommend?

    And no Integras.

Not sure if I understand the question; but yes, the car will be used for commuting through highways. The only reason I'm looking for another car now is that my Civic was recently totaled. Just trying to get ideas for what my next car would be.

Funny you would mention that, cause that happens to be the car that hit mine's. So no thanks, I'm biased against it.

Mazdaspeed Protege(take a serious look at these, FWD turbo, 4 door 4 seats, manual tranny, and racingbeat tuned suspension with limited slip)
    Nissan 240SX
    Nissan 300ZX (sexy sexy IMHO)
Mitsubishi Eclipse (whichever is the AWD turbo)
    Toyota Celica
Toyota Supra (2nd gen for affordability)
    Subaru Impreza 2 door RS
    Acura Legend
    Ford Taurus SHO
2nd Gen Rx-7 (just because I own one and I'm partial to one)
    Mitsubishi 3000GT SE(FWD 222hp) or VR-4(AWD 300hp)

........umm that's all I can think of.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

I wanted a 300zx a while back. But I learned that they're pretty damn heavy, a gas hog, and expensive to mod. Plus, it's kind of hard to find a good one.

Hmm they weigh the same as a supra and get ok gas mileage for a sports car, but they do cost a mad donkey **** to mod.

why don't you want an integra? out of all the cars I have owned, my integra's have taken the most beatings. The one I have now was in such good condition when I got it, I decided to leave it stock and actually take care of it. It would definitely last 5 more years. My only problem is getting tired of cars after a few months.

Seriously, almost all of my tuner friends have integras. The Integra is a great car, but it's too hard to be original with one. Don't want to seem like just another tuner. There are plently of other Hondas I would consider before getting an Integra. But who knows, I might just end up getting one.

maybe its different where you live. all the tuner kids here are stuck in 92-95 civics. There are only a few modified integras around. I know what you mean though. Its hard to be original with an integra. good luck finding something!

Buy my Yaris for $10K. It's a 2007 with 37,XXX miles a bunch of mild mods. Gets close to 40MPG too.

Why people think fast car should be easy on gas the same time? Anyways, a S-chassis with any engine combo, turboed would be a nice choice.

BTW, what are you going to get?

I don't care for speed. Just need a good daily with a bit of power. And I ended up buying another prelude.
