Sprint cars weren't ever production vehicles but Legends began their life as one so should just have to register it as its donor vehicle, whether it's a 1937 Dodge, Chevy, Ford, or whatever. Vehicles Over 25 years old don't need a title anyways so who cares if it was a race car at one point, just need a VIN
Oler than 1952 you dont need a title and barely need a vin. If its inspected as a 52 or older without any of that it will just be inspected for safety and then you get a pink slip to register it.
220 bucks and you can make any old car street legal with the right safety stuff.
