the 07 Z will beat a stock Z32 TT. by a large margin.
even the VQ's are faster than thet s2k's.. i've beaten countless s2k's wheni was stock.. not by alot but by about half a car

i just think every 350z owner is tired of everyone underestimating their car. we've got proof that our car isb etter than certain cars. and it's all over the internet.. over and over again. and then people still try to come hating on the Z just to hate, it gets old after a while. even in this thread there's people saying "miata > Z"... get real.
s2k > 350z. if anything the Z is SLIGHTLY better. as proven countless times.
The majority of Z haters that i see drive old 2000 or older cars and just simply can't afford one, so, hate kicks in.

I was talking pre 07 then. I just think it is sad that nissan made the Z33 slower than the Z32TT in a straight line. For a car that is 10 years old I think we hold up pretty well compared to the Z33's. Z33 is a nice car and I wouldnt mind owning one...just too expensive for what you get out of it.
I driven supercharged, N/A, and turboed pre-07 350Zs. I raced my old stock FD against a couple of track edition 350Zs several times. I didn't lose. That said, while it's not the fastest car, and it's definately not the lightest, it is a very solid car, and enjoyable to drive.
Stock for stock, the 350Z seems to have more power than the S2K to me. The S2K has better handling though - if you know how to drive it. Otherwise the 350Z seems like it would be easier to learn to go fast in. The cars is really stable.
As for quick, they are a blast once they get boosted.
No reason to hate on the 350Zs. If I could afford one, I wouldn't mind having it. I like the handling of the RX8 more, but the Z has torque.

305z's have an amzzing motor IMO. but the downfall to them is they cant really hold a lot of boost in stock form, no big deal motor n/a cars cant but for how much they are it is very expensive to boost them and lets say that you blow the motor who the hell can afford to just buy vq motors and build them on top of all that. there are many other front engine rear wheel drive cars out there that i would much rather have that have more power potential in almost stock form ex. FD, Supras, STi, EVo (even though those are all-wheel drive) 350z not my top choice.
Now G35's are hot but not because of speed but for looks alone just a damn clean car. still the fact remans that not many people can afford to make the payments on top of trying to mod it.

eh, it's the whole turbo phase. it's like saying it's sad that mazda made the rx-8 after the rx-7 which was blatantly better, all the car companies did it, too many problems/too exspensive off the lot for the factory TT cars.. I love the 300zx.. the only reason i didnt get one is because the 350 looks better IMO :]
