If you're going to do a VG30 into your 240SX then, funds permitting, go all out and get the VG30DETT. The N/A will hardly be worth the trouble once you swap in the excess weight.
The engine is cramped no matter what car it goes in, that's just the way it's built. The swap is cheap, or the longblock is anyways...i've seen the VG30DETT with low mileage go for $2,500-3,000 complete but that doesn't make up for all the excess labor and maintenance and upgrade costs. Back in the mid to late 90's that engine in 510's and 240z's was both cool and impressive, in the last 15 years there's been plenty of other engines built and "discovered" that are far better for a swap.

Just go buy a J30 if you want that engine in something besides a Z32.

Why not just build your own damn 3 rotor instead of trying to import one anyways? Downing has the shaft...
