And about the LS1 swap, I don't think that's a good idea because it throws off the whole geometry of the car, weight balance, etc.

If you use the aluminum block (LS1/LS6), it doesn't throw the weight off by much. It's close to the same. But I would just get a Corvette if I wanted a LSx motor.

Yeah you got me there! I didn't realize the 13B was about 80lb lighter than the V8...that's crazy. Thanks for pointing that out
