    Default need help asap

    I havea 89 crx that i swap a 99 civic ex motor in to (d16y8) I used my old flywheel clutch and pressure plate but when I put every thing back together I had to adjust the clutch cable all the way up and Im not sure If i was suposse to us a clutch and pressure plate from the 99 civic or what please any on that done this swap plase help

    the car clutch cable catches all the way at the top and i no its not engauging right so the question is what pressure plat and clutch do i use

    YOUR CABLE MAY BE TO TIGHT TRY LETTING IT ALL THE WAY DOWN AND CHECK HOW THE CLUTCH FEELS AFTER A FEW TURNS

    you are suppose to use the 89-91 honda civic/crx clutch and pressure plate... the teeth on the 92-00 civic pressure plates sit farther inwards (towards the flywheel) and you will have to adjust the cable almost all the way out to get them to catch right...
