I would think with those type r pistons your compression would be to high to run much boost at all. Id say dont go over 8lbs. Depending on the turbo size is what would determine how much power you made. Usually t3/t4's make around 300 on 9-11psi depending on the condition of the motor.

nah the sc61 should do about 350whp at 20psi its a good turbo for b16. it would be a great turbo for an important race

you are better with the gsr pistons and i wouldn't recommend 300whp on any stock honda piston.

250whp on a gsr if you want it near reliable, 280whp if you want to push it, 300whp if you want to push it and don't care if you have to rebuild it with forged internals (recommended).

on a serious note ... you can put down 300 ... but even properly tuned... the stock ring lands can only hold so much for so long....

what kind of dyno? 310 crank hp or wheel hp? did you see it tuned, dyno sheet, or did he just tell you that? how does he drive it?

not saying it's not possible, but there are fewer to make that for long periods of time than do. like i said before, it depends on how you want to risk reliability.

if you want a good reliable daily then i recommend 100whp over stock and you don't have to really worry. as you step further away from that your risk goes up.

You tuned it scotty, at mainstream it made 300 even whp i believe. It was babied usually but there was a few times he ran the **** outta it against some people and it was purring afterwards.

I made 336whp on my boosted gsr setup i just got rid of tuned by john vega. It was boosted for 3 or 4 months before i got rid of it and as far as i know it's still running like a charm.

I think that 300whp is ok on a GSR with GSR PISTONS. From what I have seen the GSR pistons are stronger then the Type R/B16 pistons. I would be careful, the ringlands seem to be weaker.

cool. what's his name so i can add that one to the collection of dyno sheets. he sounds like one of the responsible boost-heads out there that doesn't pound the $h#t out of it every possible moment.

i don't usually recommend that power for ultimate reliability though. 300whp on a gsr is almost 140whp over stock.

Yeah, not one of those "responsible boost-heads". I pound the "$h#t" out of my boosted civic every day, and she still runs great.

    What the f u c k is a "GOOL?"

Go research before you ask questions. H-T has plenty of info on this, you
could probably even find something on here too.

what do you mean by this. ah this is shawn you are always changing your name.
well people told me you ran a corvette and crack a sleeve in your motor on the green integra the day you finish putting the turbo on. i rather let someone that knows about turbos to tell me how much boost. oh and please take care of the nissan that was my budies please dont turn the boost up and blow another motor.

You said you would only race cars that are worth racing and im saying thats why i wouldnt run that mustang you guys wanted me to run that night...it was a waste of gas. Yes this is Sean and actually buddy i was running 14psi on a stock internal GSR UNTUNED running someone elses tune for about a month not a day...and i cracked a sleeve AFTER i had done race PJ'S NEON while i was in the process of giving carl a ride in it...Get your story straight. I never raced a corvette period in my integra. I know more about turbo setups then most on this site...i know nearly everything there is to know. Ive blown one motor and one head gasket so i dont know where you get this motor blowing from? And NO MY 240 WAS NOT ONE OF YOUR FRIENDS...my 240 hasnt been brought out in almost a year untill i bought it and now it's in good hands IM THE ONE FIXING ALL THE **** UPS ON IT, THE DENTS & DINGS and within a month it will be beautiful with a sick ass paint job and wheels instead of sitting in a driveway fading like it was before i got it for the past year and for your information my bottom end is good for around 470whp my boost is set at 20psi it would be dumb to go any higher on a stock s15 BB turbo and even if i did turn it up more ALL MY PARTS ARE BALLER PARTS and would support it. My turbo wouldnt create near enough power to mess somthing up if anything my turbo would take a ****. Which none of this matters anyways because my motor will be getting swaped for a 1jz supra motor around the middle of 08 after i get my other job back. Know what your talking about rookie before you speak and quit posting all these help me this, how much this, what would cause this threads!

Ive never in my life said i had a 600whp civic I had 494whp boosted ls then hit a tree and split my block in half then i had a 337whp gsr. Im not on here to start **** or argue Victor but dont believe everything you hear. I dont care what people believes or believed the car is gone now. It was Rob's car so your half right other then the name except ive fixed so much and done so much you couldnt really call it his old car anymore. Ive already done a street tune i just need to get it on the dyno. And yeah ive surprised the hell outta a few since i got it and gave a few motivation. I never expected it to be as quick as it is and no one else has either.
