lemme see....an old ass luxury car for...CHEAP? no way man. we got a customer that comes here with a J30, and everything is expensive on that junk box.

good luck man. buy the part on ebay and save yourself some money.

also, like chang said, it prob isnt ur spring. that is almost impossible to bend. A lot of other items go bad before the spring. Prob strut or lower control arm

Damm I hate to say this, but I had the same sort of deal and it was
the rear engine cradle, I was lucky and I found one on a car that was parted out pick it up 25$$, It called for around 500 to 600$$ JUST in labor alone!!

It took about 6 hours for me and a friend to do it on a lift!!

    GOOD LUCK!!

you can fix a spring on the rear in like 20 mins im thinking??

i know rear springs are EASY to get to, and if its bent it doesnt have any/much pressure so it shouldnt be hard to get off safely or just get a spring compressor. not knowing what your doing would probably only take and hour or a BIT more. and you may need an alignment, depending on what you have to disconnect.

what exactly do you mean rear engine cradle? the motor is in the front of these cars, and it doesnt seem like any damage would be done to the area around the rear of the engine bay by hitting a curb with the rear wheel.
