I never had a problem with Scotts when i did HONDA machine work, i cant vouch for his V8 stuff.

The best place i have found is Ball Engine and Machine. Its in lilburn an their phone number and address is listed in the GENERAL TECH: MACHINE SHOP DIRECTORY thread.

Expect to pay $80-90/hour for a machinist, and no, $300 sounds about right to do guides, seats and lapping

yeah this place is right up the street from me. i havent had anything done there yet but i plan on paying him a visit. what all do they do there. i know they can bore/hone block etc and head work. can they install sleeves?
