what do yall think about the boosted f22
what do yall think about the boosted f22
which boosted f22?
Damn Noobs... Ill let you handle this one /\/\
when you say "the boosted F22" you must specify which/what you're talking about...Originally Posted by cava1i3r
If your talkin about boosting an F22 in general, go for it. if its done right then its the best SOHC honda block you can boost, probably the best honda block period. If done wrong you can have a big mess on your hands. Hondas F and H series motors are the "big blocks" of the honda world
Hey BlkCD5, i like your civic.
I like how you tell someone something an what is best for them for there car at that time, an they go behind your back, like they don't trust you , SHANE Fu88ing a88 hole
i was just seeing how it was....by other ppl that have went this route already
I already seen an been threw this route with a friend of my A88 whip
am not going to tell you a lie, that would be dumb huh, but I understand
don't do it...just ask josh about my f22 lol, I seriously had everything to do it then my 2ND f22 pretty much went to hell, btw josh thanks for figuring it out ill be there tomorrow morning err...this morning.
do you have an accord that you need to boost?
LOL am sorry
did you think what you are gonna do about it? ( car) shanes car is damn quick man, I will put my word on it
my buddy was running 10psi on his F22 daily. never had any problems. had a great tuner tho. everything was set up perfectly. how it should be doneOriginally Posted by TR_Accord
but if you want to I have parts! the turbo, injectors, and bov will be fs soon
^^^ Agree +1 depends on how well the motor is taken care of
im really thinking about it but talking to some people and doing some research tells me slow and not to throw that much on top to be honest but we'l see I will look at itOriginally Posted by JoshuaASE
If I were you man and my motor was still rinning right, id do alot of research seeing what all fits, and get it TUNED to 8psi, 10 is pushing it if you like to pound on it sometimes like meOriginally Posted by cava1i3r

dont look, ride an drive it, its qiuck, but thats between you two
lol, will do...hey can you pm me what I owe you?
Going to bed Ill see you at the shop In the AM, by the way thank you for coming out an giving me an my shop a chance, Joshua
Just do it right. For God's sake, most times when people blow their **** up, its negligence. Stock motor can take about 8psi, but you can get away with a lil more. If you're serious about it, get a spare block and build the motor.
care to explain in detail?originally posted by TR_Accord

my car is broke lol, i took it to him to figure out why its broke. cool shop cool people id recommend it.
*Walks in....*
Thats what I did...bought a spare motor and reduced downtime.
Too bad the F22 can only handle 8psi...F23 14PSI!!!!!!
*Walks Out...*
Thanks man, I think if you had gotten a Newer JDM engine with alot less miles, I know for a fact you can handle boost /Nitrous daily with no problems if you got it tuned or used low boost , Joshua

See what happened? I missed alot...
might be a trade happening if it works out right
dont boost the H22. that thing handles maybe 5psi. FRM sleeves+boost FTL. You'll make maybe a little over 200hp
ask EminotheGreat. he's boosted his F23. Brad94Accord had his F22 up at 10psi daily and was running 220+hp, with 290tq. thats ridiculous
A guy not located in GA has his boosted F23 stock motor at 14psi for about two years got tired of it, built it and ran 32psi....hehehe
H22 with stock internals...FTL
thats f22b tho, on a cb7 its a bit different...pieceing together kits and chipped ecu's...
(refering to blank cd)
The H22s torque isnt bad, that motor is just best built N/A. but the motor by itself in the CD chassis, or the CB wakes it up alot
Piece together a DSM turbo. something like out of an eclipse. the injectors should fit in that motorOriginally Posted by TR_Accord
