    Default anybody know?

How much are people normally willing to pay for a Celica GTS with a kit, carbon fiber hood, GREAT(about $5k worth) stereo, leather and sunroof and about 100k on it? I am trying to figure out if I should sell my ride or not, and if so what to price it at.

Not nearly what you'd want for it. 7th Gen celicas really aren't that popular. Worth a shot though.

So a 2000 is not something that people are really looking for anymore?

Not so much, especially not on IA. A lot of people will flame you for spending that kind of money on those mods on that car. Your best bet would be either ebay with a reserve or craigslist and autotrader, with good pics.

Thanks. I have some great pics of it, just not on this comp. I just got a new one so I need to get them transferred over. I really didn't spend the money on the kit, it came with the car when I bought it. As for the stereo, I always put money into that when ever I buy a car. I have had a system in my cars since I was 18 and will always have it, so I don't mind putting some cash into that. It is always worth it to me to have great tunes while driving!

a 2000 GTS should bring more money if it runs great than any celica after it

I bought buy my 2000 Celica GT-S six speed for $6700 about 4 months ago, but it did not have a kit on it or a c/f hood, or a "kicka$$ sound system." Although it did have a K&N CAI and 125K.

    Maybe this will help.

Well mine has 100K on it, and also has the K&N ait filter, and it runs great. Only problem I have ever had was the cat converter went out, and ever since I replaced that it has been running great!

You'd be best off trying to sell to some local chick with her parents money who's lookn for a "Cute" car. You're not gonna get what you want here on IA. Dont forget to part out that $5,000 system of yours.

why all the bad talk about gts's? they are decent cars. Was suppposed to be a type R killer on the track.. heard it wasnt too far from it. They have a decent resell value also, but most of that is due to them being expensive in the first place.

cant compare yoru friends to all.. i would be willing to bet a stock gts vs. a type r would be a good match 1/4, track, top end run..

appearantly ga got all the slow ones. from what i have seen at the track (i have been a few times in the past 9 years) those gts's are not fast cars at all. in stock form i have seen them go anywhere from mid 15's to 17's. i know driver has alot to do with it but c'mon these cars are not 14 second cars. i have drivent hem and i have had freinds with them. im not saying a few ppl have not gotten them to run 14's but a good driver in a type r should hit 14's no prob and a good driver in a gts even on the faster year model would be lucky to get that freak motor and hit 14's. i guess mid ga got all the friday motors
