    Actually both the J30 and Z32 300z (N/A) had the same VG30DE(227 hp/198 ft.lb jap spec). The M30 and Z31 300z (N/A) had the VG30E (153-160hp/180ft lbs)

    The J30 engine isn't the exact same VG30DE is it? i'm pretty sure it's tuned differantly with just a few minor changes...who knows, may have just been the fuel map.

    Yeah the J30 has the same VG30DE, though i'm sure the tune is more Luxury oriented compared the performance minded Z cars
