    Default VW 1.8t Que

    I have a 1.8t gti and i am new to the turbos. it has a K03. i have looked on line and alot of tuners sell a K04. What other turbos would work well with my car?

    GT2871R
    GT28RS
    T3 Super 60
    T3/T4
    missing some im sure

    There are alot of options out there. The K04 swap is just the simplest turbo swap for these cars. There is tons of info that you can search for on vwvortex.com if you want to look at alot of different peoples opinions on diff setups. Also fyi I think the gt28rs is the turbo on the APR stage 3 kit.

    x2. Just keep in mind its not as easy as just buying a new turbo. Fuel pump, injectors, etc., etc.

    litsen to him, don't just slap on another turbo........tuning, tuning, tuning!

    Go with a GT3071 from ATP.
    Along with typical bolt-ons, all available from ATP (intake, exhaust, FMIC, injectors, tuning, etc) you can make over 360whp on pump and 400whp on race fuel.

    Thanks for the info. I know i will need to upgrade fuel pump injetors ect ect... thnks for the list though. i just need to look up to see what all the numbers and letters mean.
