you can toss it in the junkyard. makes a great paperweight.

    Yeah, I speak from experience. I had a B21A1.

You can but a B16 head on it. One guy managed to do it, but deemed it WAY not worth the time and effort it takes to actually pull it off.

    But, for defending 3rd gen's, here's tonybaker12 from preludepower.com.

You can do it, but like stated before its not worth the effort. People are starting to swap the more common B series engine into them. Some companies sell h22 swap mounts but if you car is lowered you have to remove one of the radius rod or whatever (factory traction bar) b/c the crank pulley will rub. Not to mention the oil pan is only like 2" from the ground.

The engine is an odd ball engine, but there are all the parts out there as any other honda engine. Also there is no 2.2L honda engine that has a 95mm crank... Well maybe an F series? The b20a5 and b21a1, and h23a all have a 95mm crank. The h22 has a 90.7mm stroke. Mike, your slipping son!
The B21a1, is going out of extinction, a buddy of mine has the last 4 of 7 piston rings that honda has in circulation, and has no intention of making more. Its the only honda engine I have seen that after 300k miles that there is still factory hone in the cylinder walls.

FYI, there are some guys in Japan that track race that make 200ps NA with these engines. I think one guys name is Hytomi or something.

I Meant the 2.X liter they made in the 88-91 prelude, whatever that was. sorry not up to speed on those motors lol.

I know that one of them has a 95mm OEM crank that is usuable in the later B series motor, unlike the H23 crank
