pump gas or race gas? on pump id say 10:1 is about as high as you want. on race gas like 11:1. i dont see the point in supercharging an ls though

run stock pistons..you wont make enough power to hurt anyting anyways. get a good tune and enjoy your 200 whp.....

hmmmm...the ITR pistons would put it at a 10:6, to high?? As far as the sc goes, ive tried the turbo route and like it, but i want to try somthing different, plus a centrifugal SC just sounds sexy at idle.

10.6:1 is not too high as long as you have it tuned. the higher compression you go, the smaller the margin for error.

that would be because you dont know anything. ideally you want as high as compression as possible without detonation. you will be fine if you get a good tune

i like 9.5:1 but 10.5:1 has been doen but with forged internals. prolly higher than that but i dnt reccomend it. JRC are ok if u want a lil extra power and dnt want to worry bout blowing ne hing up o having to refill a bottle. if u want to run low 13's or lower i dnt think thats gonna do it. it is very reliable though.

its 10.6:1 not 10:6. that would be equivalent to like 1.8:1 compression. i know what you were tryin to say though.

you can but you will be very dissappointed with a jrsc on an ls. the supercharger is very small and you will be lucky to make 200whp without cams and other supporting mods. i say turbo it.

lol hate to say it, but he's right. you want as high as you can go without detonation. and the tune is where your car needs to be perfect, without it..you can be low compression and still fuck yourself over. lol

Just remember that stock ITR pistons are like B16 pistons and have very weak ringlands. With boost you have to be very careful with this. Get a good tune and look for some forged pistons.

quit talking about and put something together. yawl talk too much, mking my head hurt and shit. run ur 10.6:1 compression and ur roots blower and call it a day. If u dnt have the fmu and all the other jazz get CROME and ride out. Its as simple as dat.

No need to thank me, ill be here all week.
