very true. My fiance HAD a 2000 accord EX V6, but at 102k miles the tranny died. I replaced it with a tranny that supposedly had 24k miles on it, and it died 15k miles later... so I replaced the transmission and sold it again. The car wasnt worth but about $8k, so replacing a $1500 tranny once a year was a waste of money.... Honda has fixed this problem in the newer transmissions. 99-02 acura TL's and 01-02 CL's had similar problems. It had something to do with the differential and the bearings inside going bad and the metal shavings eating up the rest of the gears.Originally Posted by shavedcivic
