Anybody have any idea why my radiator would stay on when my key is out of the ignition.
Another problem, my speedometer works sometimes, usually its at 0 but randomly it would read the speed I am driving, any suggestions?

radiator - does it stay on the whole time the key is out of the ignition or does it shut off after about 5-10 minutes? some car has it to where it cools the motor down a little bit than it'll shut off - if it doesn't shut off than the fan is hard wire to your battery
speedometer - cheeck your vehicle speed sensor on the tranny.. it might be a bad speed sensor
give us more info on your vehicle - make, model, year, etc.
I got a 95 Civic DX
The radiator stays on as long as there is power in the battery. When I'm out of the car I gotta pull the relay so it doesn't eat up my battery.
Your radiator's wiring is for some reason waked out and hardwired to battery. I think you are just gonna have to get the wiring harness checked out and see what happened. That shouldn't be doin that. Is it a brand new radiator or did you just buy the car?
But I agree with 1989 up there... check the speed sensor.
I have never seen a radiator that is on and off.
i have seen radiator caps open and close.
i have seen electric fans be on or off.

i would check your wiring from the radiator fan( i think thats what ur talkin about) to the coolant sensor that turns the fan on . it might be wired wrong or your switch might be gone...
Yea I meant the fan stays on.
It worked fine before, but when I changed my battery, that's when it started to stay on.
