Many of them have bad fitment and made using thin metal so they will crack in no time.

If you want to buy a less expensive header that will still make power then get this 4-1 (2.5" Collector) . It's looks just like the DC 4-1 (2.5" collector) and very similar to the Type-R exhaust manifolds. Just be careful if you're riding low, especially on an EF because the header scrapes! Currently on my 3rd one right now, except I got Charles (Mainstream) to build me a skid plate to protect it this time .

Oh really, wow. Find some more info on that for me; you remember if it was stock cat & exhaust or what?

I seem to make decent power with this header, 174 WHP/129 WTQ LS/VTEC.

WIth the influx of so many knock off headers, any JDM 2.5 in collector is the MINIMUM header you should be looking at.

I can get the Megan Racing JDM 2.5in headers for $165 shipped in stainless steel

True, those 2 first links posted had header with 2" outlet (ghey).

But yeah I agree the Megan is a good deal, the 4 primaries near the collector are angled so they don't sit too low

you really don't need a 4-1 2.5" collecter header unless you have other mods to support it.

The only reason you should buy cheap headers is for vanity purposes. It makes your engine bay look a little better. But stay away from Stainless steel unless you are ok with discoloration.

Id get the cheapo ceramic if your just trying to get away from the ugly look of the stock header.
