Thread: what engine would u..

    Default what engine would u..

    ok im gathering all my info for my project im bout to launch..trying to figure out the rite power plate.pretty much DIY(besides the tuning)

    Not going to be drifing so weight dont matter,just want fast as hell car and fun for cheapest.

    stuck between the easy sr20,now im looking into the 1jz and 2jz swaps..

    any ideas? would b done and fabricated by myself and sum buddies at home.
    goal is 450/500hp..

    evn if i have to buy A part a month at a time..i just want a fast car..need sum advice./nicco didnt really help to much.

    sr20 made for a turbo so it has the oil cooler lines already there.

    Get the sr20 downpipe,exhaust,injectors,fuel pump,cams and turbo upgrade and tune

    you wanna do a sr/2j into an accord? i think im missing something. KA-T build would end up costing way to much, could do i sr swap or a rb25 for cheaper. check out best japanese engines 770 426 5755 they are in marietta on cobb pkwy/41 at canton rd. behind the DUI school and emissions place.

    only problem with the sr is you can only get about 330whp on stock internals , non forged pistons FTL. you can get the rb25det from b&j off cobb prkwy for 1800 then you gotta get cutom mounts 200, and a driveshaft 600-800.

    LS1 swap can be done, but it doesnt exactly pop into an S13. Requires a good chunk of fab work.
    Cheap reliable power from a KA-T can be had for less than a G.
