huh? if you're gonna blow something up then don't blow up the d15b..give it to me. lol. but i believe the the d15b has higher compression because it doesn't have recessed pistons. not quite sure..i forget. but sell me the d15b head.

the pistons are slightly different. as far as i have read, the only pistons that work well in the d15bs are the vitaras. a vitara eagle combo will work well for boost and have 9.18 compression. personally i would go with the d16z6 and gain a few ft lbs of torque. i have some SRP pistons for sale if you do use the z6.

yes i was trying to say boosted and i want to boost a d15b since i havent seen much with high Hp turnouts. but if in the long run a z6 with benefit me and last longer then i'll go with that block. also my gaol is only 250-300whp. oh yeah and sorry im not selling the head its being tore down to be sent to a machine shop. when i get it back though all my head work will be done. So far the bought parts list goes like this.
    1.SK2 cam
    2.Sk2 cam gear
    3.Ti retainers
    4.Double spring valve springs
    5.Stainless steel valve
    as for head work...hehe
    1.PnP
    2.3-angle valve job on head
    3.2-angle on valves
    4.head being decked .001"
hehe fun stuff and all on the low low.
this is why i was asking about the block cause it's next.

Z6,Trust me Ive blown three D15s, With stock internals and at 10 pounds. The true Power is out of a z6. Do not build a d15b7 your wasting time, Not enough trq, or power. If you want 250-300hp. Suggest the z6,with aY8 tranny. I made 208hp, and 190 trq on d15 b7. But not safely... Do not make the same mistake that I did. Not unless you just like to blow things up.

BTW, Dont use a D15 head, just an opinion, The vtech is like a 3 stage weird shit. You should try a Z6 head or even the D16A-(Dont know much About, but heard good things.)
