I've always kinda wondered if USDM would ever become popular in Japan or Europe. Might be kinda funny converting a Silvia into a 240. lol.

I say in the future somebody might perfect a rotary motor, but then again its not going to be anyway fuel efficient and they'll realize that they might as well use a modern V8 for much better all around performance. If rotary motors were the future everybody would be using them, its just a niche motor. Flat-plane V8 >>>> any rotary motor ever.

The next big thing will be the trickling down of solenoid actuated valves for infinitely variable timing and ridiculously high redlines. Should be just as revolutionary as fuel injection.
i believe the rotary engine is one of the best, unfinished inventions in cars.

It's a gorgeous concept. I just wish more cars would be rotary powered.

Until then, i'll stay with Honda.

It is, but not in the way you'd think. LS1 powered camaro's are quite popular there.
    My car is factory....

Every single performance part and or modification it has was made in a factory somewhere.

agreed. VIP is getting bigger & bigger in Japan. they have some ballin cars over there. I saw a VIP RX7 with candy apple paint, mad clean interior with like 20" chromes.........& it actually looked good.

Again, like simontibbett said, time attack & grassroots are growing in popularity along with ameteur drift series.
