The stock B18C1 will handle 8200 rpm, but with those cams, only running 8200 rpm is pointless. I looked up some dyno charts and those cams only make about 7 extra whp at 8k rpm. at 8800 rpm they are good for about 14whp. Stock GSR cams start to lose power at around 7600 rpm. These cams make power to almost 9k rpm. They are not worth it if you are not going to up the rev limit more. to do that you will need good valve springs and retainers. Type R valve springs and retainers are good to 8600, but you will probably want to go with aftermarket. Those cams make best power at high rpm. Are you building an engine for race use or for a car that will be a DD?

bc spec3 cams make a load of power in the midrange compared to skunk2's, and yes they make awesome power up top. You should at least be running ITR dual springs to be on the safe side. With your motor, you should obtain 185+whp easily.
