i ran a 75 and a 100 on my old z6. it still runs to this day without a problem and i believe the new owner still sprays the 75 on it quite a bit. just make sure you get colder plugs and pull some ignition with the dizzy. i would go with the 75 just because i had problems with backfires on the 100 every once and a while.

I wont recommend NOS. You'll be much more happier with a nice turbo setup.

Yeah i know, but i know a guy that can hook me up with some insane single cam parts for cheap! If i didn't know better i'd say they stole them! But i can completely rebuild my the z6 with all aftermarket parts for about 1k. Then soon after that i will consider a turbo kit. I only wish i could find a turbo kit for a damn good deal Im just going to piece one together and go from there. Im think 300whp on a low boost DD and 350-400whp on race. I'd say thats what's up.

just make sure you have enough fuel going in when you do spray. Also invest in a safety switch. Btw, what kind of kit is it? Wet or dry?

wow man. your all over the place. lol. swappin heads, motor builds, n/a, NAWSS. lol.

Dont use nitrous without a better motor. Your more than likely going to blow the motor with N.O.S.. Get the motor built tougher and inject a nice 75 shot. depending on build, go with a little higher.

but what are kit are you going to be using? Wet or Dry? Make sure you have plenty of fuel (better fuel pump, injectors would help)

a d16z6 will hold a 75 shot without a problem. nitrous does not hurt an engine at all if you do your research and to the necessary mods to make it safe. 75 shot is the limit on a stock pump. upgrading to a 255 is a great idea. NGK brk7e plugs and 4 degress on the dizzy will give you a decent setup. i made 204 on a 75 shot with my setup and ran 8.90s in the 8th with full interior, stock suspension and kumho ecsta tires. my stock z6 held 100 shot for several months. too bad i never got to run it.

oh and if your not using a wet kit, you will need tuning time and bigger injectors.

Agree single cam with the right FMU,Tuning,tune-up,oilchange,and a wet kit, can run easy 75 shot, i did on my d16y8 for a long time as well, no problems, if you want to fix that backfire at 100 shot, add more fuel an retard timeing 6 degrees and you be fine, 255 walbro fuel , summit racing new 140 and a vortec 12:1 ratio FMU 160 new and will do the job good, by the way if you want a turbo setup I got a complete kit for 1800 OBO forsale let me know thanks Joshua
