I love my car, and probably will never trade up for a X. However, they are doing some amazing things with the handling side of performance on the Evo X. They are incorporating AYC (which we didn't get before) with the ACD to become S-AWC. It is kinda getting watered down with some extra luxury features though. This in turn will move it out of the price range of the potential buyers that know about and respect the car's PERFORMANCE heritage. It is not a sport luxury car! I am also not convinced about the new paddle shifting dual wet clutch like VW has. We'll see how they stand up to extra hp and abuse down the road.
