    Default Project S12

    So me and my bro picked up a notchback 86 nissan S12 today tobad it wasnt the CA1.8 but its the CA2.0 and 5 speed and we are trying to find some info on it any will help .

    Awesome! A buddy of mine was doing a lot of research on them....he says a lot of S13 suspension stuff bolts up to the S12. He was even thinking you could take a whole S13 rear subframe and swap it into the S12 (but he wasn't sure yet). Definitely a sweet car. If you need parts, there's an almost untouched turbo S12 at the pull-a-part in Augusta. Lemme know what you need and I can take a look for you. (PM works best)

    Also, a JDM CA18DET or SR20DET should bolt in no problem.

    yeah the car in the pic above it has a SR redtop in it but im thinking had to change the mounts out may have to in this one but idk cause its already a 2.0 mounts just not sure it close to the same

    Is it a notch back also or a hatch at pull a parts ?

    so i may put a clean DE in it for now if i dont keep the stock CA20
    but anyone know if a DE would drop right in or need mounts ?

    I think the KA24DE swaps in with minimal effort. There is an S12 forum on the net. It's small, but it's there. Check it out for more info.

    ok so i got the car running and driving and well the engine purs like a kitten but sputters when u give it gas and poors white /grey smoke out the exhaust and when i tried to drive the car it has no power with the pedal to the floor. im thinking maybe headgasket but the car dosent run hott any. any tips or ideas ????????

    I was about to buy a built S12 a while back. Had a fully built CA20 with turbo I think CA20. It was a bad ass lil fucker though
