vr4 swap? get ready to spend 10k. better off buying a vr-4 then trying to make a base into one.

i dont know ,all i know is if its not a vr-4 dont mess with it because trying to make it into a vr-4 will cost more than just buying a vr-4, differentials , transfer case , axles , the engine... its just a major PITA. i guess your better off turboing the engine that's already in there...but your still FWD so...

Very not pointless the engine and tranny matched with the gears in the fwd makes for a seriously fast ass car. some one on here has one for sale that already has the swap done. Look for it in the cars for sale section.

i dont think any 3000gt was rear wheel drive stock the sl just had an doch setup with higher compression i think.

In the later years, they dropped the DOHC for a torqier SOHC and went to 222 hp. And no 3kGT was ever RWD. Ever. Even for an FWD pig it was, it could move a little. I would've definately wiped balls all over any V6 mustang or camaro. And I think it was slightly quicker than the 300Zx n/a, but I could be wrong though

    K series 626. That's right. It's got a K in it.

what the fuck are you talking about?

the sohc had 20ftlbs of torque, and 60hp less than the dohc.(e.g. sohc=160/185 / dohc=220/205)

and jr4m tell your friend if he's gonna swap, he might as well get a 6g74 block and build it up and boost it. i think some of them have mivec too. lots of custom fab work for it though

Probably I can walk on v6 mustangs and camaro's as well but n/a 300's are slow...thats why im selling mine.

As far as that guy i told you about ask him about the swap because he has done it before and knows how its done.

I would just find a stealth R/T-TT.. I've always liked those. A guy in my apt complex has a 95 RT-TT that's Yellow.. I'm pretty sure that's one of the rarest colors.

But FWD or not... 300hp is going to be quick
