    Default GSR VS ITR cams for a boosted car

    have a built bottom end cp pistons, eagle [color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif][color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif]rods[/font][/font][/color][/color], microbalanced crank(stock with griddle bored to a 83.5mm(1.9)) on my gsr. I am running 9.2 compression. Im thinking of running ITR [color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif][color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif]camshafts[/font][/font][/color][/color]. What would this raise my compression to?? its boosted and im am going to run about 12-15 psi. its got a block guard [color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif][color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif]stock[/font][/font][/color][/color] sleeves. Will they throw a check [color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif][color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif]engine [/font][color=orange! important][font=verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif]light[/font][/color][/font][/color][/color]?? its a 94(OBD1) arent all ITRs OBD2?? wanting about 375 WHP looking to make btw 350- 400whp. but not more... yet


    which ones should i go with??

    Well, i know Danny from odenville,al. on his turbo type r run gsr cams on his motor. ITR is a all motor cam, but the best for boosted applications.

    ITR, but if you are ballin' try to get some CTR's, they are wonderfull for boost.

    somehow i think 3 degrees more duration on the intake cam is not enough to differentiate between the CTR an ITR cams in a boosted motor.

    GSR cams make 600whp all day long on turbo motors. ITRs make good power too, but they arent a MUST have.

    i would just stick with GSRs
