new to boosting and all the components going into it.
I understand you need to get atleast 450cc injectors, i have that covered. what about getting the resistor box?
also whats needed for the stock 99 accord ecu? (p28 im pretty sure?)

man you are gonna need ALOT of help!!! not tryin to bash but i have seen sum of your other threads and you dont kno much at all about cars do you?
Your going to have to convert to obd-1 so you can use a chipped ecu, or use just an fmu and safc (not recommended) or get aem. you need a resistor box to run dsm 450's.
The EMPIRE
yea im not going to lie, i dont know alot about the engine and that stuff. I Know Body and the Visual and sound electronics and audio. I was going for just looks with the body kit, shaved handles, lambo doors..but iv been intrested in turbo latly..Originally Posted by B18CDELSLO

Just something fun to drive..just want the BOV sound.yea i kno that may sound gay to yall but i think its BA> and plus the extra power the turbo comes along with. and no i dont want to buy those "turbo whistlers' that u stick in ur exhaust.lol
You will need an OBDI Injector Resistor Box. I'm pretty sure it's out of the Preludes.
just buy a set of rc saturated injectors and save urself the trouble of having to wire up a resistor box and junking up ur engine bay.
i like that idea.Originally Posted by blue_5g_zc

i looked at some 440cc RC injectors..and they said they will not fit a prelude and accord..
if you going to run a p28 you are going to have to convert you distributor to obd1, you are also going to need injector clips to use the new injectors (dsm 450's right?) its a painful process and i hope you car is registered in a county that doesnt do emissions.
About to approach beast mode
well i was reading.and i kno the 450cc injectors need a resistor box. and to put them onto my accord i have to find the "dead-end"clip and find the 4wires that have power running to them and split and splice wires for the resistor box. the injectors came with the proper bigger Orings and clips.for an extra 30$lol
but sum1 said RC i wouldnt need to worry bout wiring up a resistor box and all that mess..
you shouldnt need a resistor box, i think your car already has one. and you might run into a few problems with the emissions. the only way i see you getting around it, is to use apexi neo or vafc/afc. or come out the ass and buy aem ems. tuning sucks for obd2 cars

you will fail w/ both of those. a lot of times (not all) the afc hack will throw baro code since the corrections cause the ecu to grossly different atmospheric than what the baro really sees. aem is not obd2 compliant.
if you get the injectors that are plug/play into your car you can just swap the stock injectors and remove wg spring (if external gate) or disconnect the actuator arm from the wg arm (if internal) and swap stock ecu back in and drive for 75-100 miles to get it in readiness. test and pass. it ends up being about an hours worth of work and 1.5 hours of driving, but that's your only way if you want to use an obd1 based tuning system or aem.
