Default 200WHP Turbo Kit for Yaris? (O_o)

    http://www.zeropointindustries.net/s...roducts_id=346

    Holy hell!

We're awaiting the dyno chart from the two test fitters over at Yarisworld.com. The kit claims over +100WHP on an otherwise stock Yaris. Seeing as how the Yaris lays down around 95WHP stock, this is insane.

I don't believe it. I'll need to see it IRL first.

There are two guys running the kit right now with no problems. They're actually putting down around 180WHP. For a 2200lb car, that's not bad. Time will tell though.

Maybe later, but no time soon.

Agreed. This is the reason why I'm waiting before jumping on it. I'll let some other guys get it first and see if they come across any issues.

By 200whp, that does not mean DD. They probably leaned it out and started bumping up the the boost untill they heard detonation. Shit I put 40+psi through a stock 1.6L sentra. God only knows how much hp it was making before it blew less then a minute later.

The member turboyaris is currently daily driving at around 180WHP. He's supposed to share some more details about the tuning and such later today. The kit comes with a GReddy E-Manage and from what ZPI has told us, tuning was the biggest factor in squeezing out power.

I agree though, I'd be happy with 160WHP in my tiny car. To push more than that, I'd probably start beefing up the internals to be safe.

The weight on a fully loaded 3-Door Liftback is around 2300lbs. My car doesn't have power anything, so I figured I'm closer to around 2200lbs.

ZPI has already released new pistons and they'll be releasing new valve body parts here soon. They've had some good success with the Scion people, so I figured they're recycling a lot of their parts from the xB kits.

I do have a 5-Speed. The automatics are topping out around 155WHP due to the tranny.
