Actually aftermarket exhausts aren't illegal. Like someone said if the OEM is in need of replacement then by all means it can replaced...I believe the only law governing aftermarket exhausts is the decible readings...otherwise how would major company's aka greddy, skunk2, etc etc obtain CARB numbers so they can legally be installed. Hrm....
