ehhh ... alot of it is in the tuning, you know. if you do go over 10 psi,
you'll probably want to make sure your turbo kit does include a FMIC. alot of people think ls motors cant make good power without the vtec head. i have seen a alot of #s that prove otherwise.
as for a stock motor, id say keep it around 8-10, and really no more. this will ensure the "most reliability" that you can expect. and yea, a 57 or 60 trim will most likely do nicely on a stock motor. pretty good spool time and decent power for the boost levels you want. its a good start anyhow. when you blow it up, you can throw on a vtec head and some forged internals and crank it up
