as for a stock motor, id say keep it around 8-10, and really no more. this will ensure the "most reliability" that you can expect. and yea, a 57 or 60 trim will most likely do nicely on a stock motor. pretty good spool time and decent power for the boost levels you want. its a good start anyhow. when you blow it up, you can throw on a vtec head and some forged internals and crank it up
ill be sure to keep that in mind next time. be on the look out for manufacturers selling kits without intercoolers guys.
