    Angry Freakin stupid turbos

    Any tips on how to seperate the exhaust housing from the center section? i know its supposed to rotate but mine seems rusted on. Any ideas tobreak it loose? i tried hammer, wd-40, deep creep, and nothings happening. i need my freakin car to run!!!

    if it's a factory turbo it might have a pin to keep it from being clocked, which means you'll have to pull the housing off and remove the pin (just fyi if it's an oem turbo)

    compressor housing is off. all bolts out of the exhaust housing except two that the center section wont let move all the way out. i am gonna torch it up and see if i can get this sucker to turn.

    thats what I keep telling him. Get a new turbo. Hitting it with a hammer like some of you are suggesting is just plain stupid, have any of you ever worked on a turbo before?? His housings are cast iron and they will crack.

    I suggested heat, I will torch it up tomorrow for you, just remind me.

    Oh and if I get it off you owe me lunch, I will do it during lunch.

    if anything B. jus buy a cheap one off ebay for a temp setup.even if its an SS one

    1. Get a room at the Marriot hotel on the top floor.
    2. Open window.
    3. Drop turbo out window.
    4. If it doesn't work, repeat step 3.
