    h22 longblock with a b series adapter plate and a b-series tranny,axles, and shift linkage...it an expensive setup though but well worth it.

    He said DD guys. My .02, just get a Dseries fully-bolted and call it a day. If u have a non-vtec D, a simple VTEC head conversion and fully bolted. Maybe a 50 shot wet later but nothing more. You swap in a B and you will start a war that never ends. Keep it simple for your DD.

    Ok thats what i was thinking but i would put a d16z6 VTEC right or D16y8. Heres the story i went to my buddies shop Li and they said that a D16z6 could take Ls all day. Im guessing that its ritht what they said no? Or going boost on the z6 or y8? Well D16z6 in a hatch lol ^-^ Need more info which would you put in the hatch Z6 or Y8? But if you guys are wondering im going to go single shit yall can keep that speed racer shit already had that lol.

    When you said DD then I immediately think SOHC. Bs are more finicky than a D, and reliability = D in my mind. Not to mention if you swap in a B then you are gonna turn it into a never ending project (SINCE THIS IS A DD) - trust me. z6 > y8 - but that depends on who you ask. A y8 has a SLIGHTLY superior head - but that won't matter in your case.

    * CAI
    * cam
    * header
    * exhaust
    * NOS
    * wideband
    * VAFC (tuning)

    and you got a very decent daily that will run 4ever.

    You mean a EG with a b18b vs. an EG with a z6? I guess it all depends on the circumstances of the race. The D series have better gearing than LS tranny so they may pull in the beginning, but the b18b equiptd car will definitely pull back and pull away. In my Integra LS i raced a friend in his EJ with a mini-me swap. He pulled at the beginning, but ran out of gears. By the end of third gear i was about a fender on him...the rest was history.
