My 2800~ lbs 240 (no driver and instructor) has no problems so far on Rotas. Alot of WRXs, they seem to do fine. But if I had the money for a G35 I think I can spare $1500 on a good set of wheels to save a little more weight and have some more (than enough) peace of mind. Like I said, people remember and talk about the failures, not the success stories. In the end, it's about being diligent and responsible, check your wheels.
