Somethings wrong cause in my Gsr I did 130 mph in 4th gear just about to hit the rev limiter, I don't like high speeds so I let off of it and it didn't take me no time at all, with just intake and a header, so in a hatch that should be no problem at all to get up to that speed.....

have to have some serious wind pushing you or much smaller tires to get 130 in 4th...

I was thinkin the same thing. With my LS tranny i usually hit about 120ish at 6.5k rpms to 7k rpms. On a GSR tranny i dont see it happening.

ya... last night I was racing a b16 hatch with an ls tranny, and I pulled him by like 3 cars, and I rode out 4th gear to like 118, right befor 120. As god as my witness, as soon as I shifted to 5th he pulled my ass right back.

In 5th gear, when my revs were at like 6,000, they started to fall ever so slightly. I did not go any faster that 127.

I mean, if we were running a quarter mile, then I would have already won, but now that everyone knows my gsr has NO 5th gear, they wont stop until they pass me!

Ok that sounds about right then. See thats not what you were saying in your first post. heres some advice:

    1) WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU RACING INTO 5th GEAR

    2) If you do race an go into 5th, 99% of the time in a stock HONDA motor, you will slow down because A) you dont have the aerodynamics to go 150+mph B) you dont have the power C) you dont have the GEARING

    3) GEARING is what is the determining factor, if you make MORE power, youll still run the same MAX MPH, youll just get there faster.

The guy saying he ran 130mph in 4th gear, you must have had an LS tranny an 5 miles of open road
