    Where is the cut off for Tial 38mm and 44mm gates?

    It kinda depends on a few other things. What turbo, what boost, etc. A 38mm on a GT35r trying to only run like 8psi is prob going to creep. But I have seen 38mm hold 28psi on a 650whp Honda.

    probably going with gt35r or gt3071r on an SR20, looking for a shade over 400 rwhp. I have a brand new 38 mm TiAl, just trying to figure out if I should go ahead and get a 44 mm

    no, the 38mm will work perfectly for your setup

    I ran a tial 38mm with a .8 spring on my sr and ran 24psi. making 450whp and it held fine

    It all depends on the spring. 7lb. 8lb. 10lb. etc.
