Default Twin Turbos OR Hybrid Turbos...

Twin turbos, means u use two seperate turbos right?
and hybrid turbos are just one but they are compose of two diff, compressor n crap... foggy on the subject if u guys could help.

Im plannin now for a 1999 s80 volvo, its the 2.8l v6 edition, non turbo i wanted a t6 cuz of its twin turbos and i read around in volvo speed forum

they recommed Garrett T25 Garrett T3 as a twin turbo set up because one takes less time to spool up while second one lags a lil but projects more power

Well a Garrett T28 is a combination of those two....so i was wondering do u get the same power out off the hybrid turbo as u would from a twin turbo set up or is it this hipy tree huggin hybrid snizzle talk/lyngo

And...neone know were to buy these that they trust with good prices.?
i see sum online for like 700dollar range.. if i just see the turbo with the compressor waht else would i need... i kinda want a kit so i can get it all out off the way n just get it installed how much is it gona cost me?

I have twins. Get a properly sized single. Much cheaper, and easier to tune on. If you run a stepped up twin setup, you have to allow for overlap, additional tuning, etc. Usually involves a TCA, LOTS of vacuum lines that get brittle and break, etc. Too many headaches. Go single and be done. If you want it to spool faster, use a small n2o shot.
