    a turbocharger is free power because it runs off of the exhaust.

    superchargers use about 30-40% of the power they make to run itself.


    turbo for a 4-banger or v6 - makes the power needed to compete w/ v8's
    supercharger for a v8 - cant be beat.... and it sounds so good when its whining...oh man

    So... People are talking about car with turbo like the BMW 335i has turbo lag even it makes peak tq from 1500 rpm???

    Or... How about a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren that is making 617hp that is not enough...

    You should make another poll for N/A vs. Force Induction.

    I like to drive my car, not work on it all of the time.

    don't buy and turbo honda or a mitsubishi then. Before i started the crazier stuff (msns, 80 trim turbo etc) my original turbo volvo was one of the most reliable cars i ever owned.
    My car is factory....



    Every single performance part and or modification it has was made in a factory somewhere.

    turbo is fun, but turbo lag is no fun, special on torqueless cars.
    get vortech, centrifugal supercharger sounds really good.
