if i make any kinda of boost my car will idle around 1500 rpm i think it has to do with the map sensor but how to i solve this problem plus i think it sends it into a safe mode and if i turn the car off and restart it it idle's normal

idle wouldnt be affected by the map sensor, its most likely your iacv or cold idle valve
how do i fix this any idea?
is it tuned at all? or jsut a shade tree turbo setup?

a little more info on your setup is required.
1. what engine management are you using (stock inj fmu missing link, 450cc afc hack, larger inj w/ tuneable ecu)?
2. what d16 do you have?
3. any cel?
4. how much deflection is on your throttle cable (none, 1/8", 1/4")?
5. what throttlebody are you using?
any other info you have will help in the e-diagnosis...more is better than not enough.

well everything is stock and its the y5(hx) im running a greddy rebic 4 with 1 inj. @8psi but at 5psi it was fine i think like green91 said its the iacv but im not sure..no missing link yet but its on the way
