    Default Mechanics needed 120k/yr+

The company i work for just awarded a 4 billion dollar contract and they have alot of positions available. I have gotten several friends on with the company and they also pay for a DoD secret clearance and pay for you to go to MRAP University for paid training. The jobs are overseas and the company is Mantech. If you are interested let me know. They are doing most of the hiring off of referals. I will be in the US for about 1 month so you have til then for my help.

I have alot of contacts for all types of work including IT. This company is hiring in masses so it would be easier to get hired for that. Ill get my contacts for IT and send them to you if you are really serious about it.

Ingalls Shipbuilding, Pascagoula, Miss. said no, and I can't join the military.. It's nothing really bad, but looks bad on paper.. No drugs or DUI's and credit is fair.. This has cost me a few good jobs!!

They treated me well , the upper management did some stupid things that ultimately lost us the contract, but govt contract bidding is a shady business anyway

I may be interested depending on what it is exactly. Already have DoD clearance and a CaC card for a Civilian contract at Rucker.

You get a secret clearance paid for by company if you dont already have one and you dont need to be a certified mechanic to get the job. Send me a pm if you are still interested and i will send u my number and i can get u more info

It's all good, helps to have someone get your foot in the door, but sometimes I feel I've wasted my talent away on these lower paying jobs, I will never give up though.. It's been 11yrs now, young and dumb!! LOL

TS/SCI showed up as going 10yrs back.. So I sent my Resume, worst they can say is no!

In case you dont know, Jeremy said SECRET clearance, that is MUCH easier to get that TS/SCI

Secret is not the same as TS(Top secret). TS/SCI Requires a ton more background information, usually an interview, takes 6-12 months to get and you must be already on a contract to even apply for it.

This job only requires a SECRET

Well that would be REALLY good then. $80k tax free and only $40k taxed which still SHOULD give u anywhere between $20-30k after tax.

Working overseas as a contractor one is tax free to $87,600.00 per year. However, there are certain conditions which must be meet to claim the tax free status. There are Two sets of criteria by which the IRS state that you must meet to claim tax free status. One way to qualify is a set of rules called, "PHYSICAL PRESENCE TEST" This set of rules state that you must be out of the United States a total of 330 days of YOUR PHYSICAL YEAR.
Anything over that amount is taxes at the rate of the whole IE if you make 125,000 you pay taxes on the amount over 87,600 at 35% if you are a single male.

125000-87,600=$37400 taxed at 35% , you wouldnt pay the 12-15% on the $37,400, youd pay tax on the whole amount, just the first $87600 is tax free. I would think you would take the standard deduction off of the 37400 though..........

before deduction you would still take home $111,310. Not bad lol

I am looking into something very similar but I will be going with a company called Fluor to do Paramedic contracting. Pay is about $140k/year signed to a four year contract.
