Ingalls Shipbuilding, Pascagoula, Miss. said no, and I can't join the military.. It's nothing really bad, but looks bad on paper.. No drugs or DUI's and credit is fair.. This has cost me a few good jobs!!

It's all good, helps to have someone get your foot in the door, but sometimes I feel I've wasted my talent away on these lower paying jobs, I will never give up though.. It's been 11yrs now, young and dumb!! LOL

TS/SCI showed up as going 10yrs back.. So I sent my Resume, worst they can say is no!

In case you dont know, Jeremy said SECRET clearance, that is MUCH easier to get that TS/SCI

Secret is not the same as TS(Top secret). TS/SCI Requires a ton more background information, usually an interview, takes 6-12 months to get and you must be already on a contract to even apply for it.

This job only requires a SECRET

    You're an idiot.

FWIW my secret clearance took 13 days, and my TS took 107. In addition to being a gunsmith, I am a fire control specialist supervisor for the Army.

A work contract has nothing to do with clearance, nor is it related in any way to the contractor.
