It doesn't take a K to go mid to low 11s, and u say until people have more ksetups, K is not the only way to go fast or be competitive, its when people actually take the time and money to make the scene grow as it should, but until then the same cars will be running the same times every year

You're right you don't need a K to go low 11s it can be done with even the d series. You're wrong about the masses not needing to embrace the K though. Sure there are other setups that could compete and win and sure not everyone needs to do the same things the same way. However until there are more setups with Ks and until there are more people doing things with K motors we(Ga) will still be behind when compared to the rest of the country. It's been brought up before...who is winning the big all motor races and what are there setups? There might be one or two oddballs out there with an F2K or an H2B but the rest are Ks.

There is no reason an Rsx should have won an All motor event and there is no reason the comp class should have been filled with 12 second cars. Stretch is right we are behind and it's not only due to that most are guilty of not spending the time and money it's also because they are trying to compete with inferior technology.

i get what ur saying about Ks dominating the all motor field in competition, but im talking about in GA only, we have a few 12second cars and hardly any 11sec cars, having a consistent outing for all motor cars here in GA doesnt take a kseries, we arent trying to go 9s all motor, shit we cant even do that with boosted cars, we are just trying to compete. and well until some1 shows GA what can be done in GA people will still be scared to try new things out of there comfort zone and stick to 200hp race cars. and whats wrong with an RSX winning an all motor event? ur car won and allmotor street class, u cant compare street tires to slicks on a fwd car period. so ur rsx winning was expected with the highest HP K in GA. now if u would have lost GA would of been in trouble lol

Honestly though I should have lost. Highest hp or not an Rsx is a far from ideal chassis for drag racing and the cars setup was far from ideal for putting down a good e.t. on street tires or slicks. You're actually proving my point by talking about 200hp race cars and people being unwilling to step out of their comfort zone. Until Ga embraces the K until there are more people doing things with the K we will continue to be behind and to run the same 12 second times.
