Yes. I don't pay attention to swaps in different cars so I don't know what they "should" run. Regardless, I think it is fairly impressive. I don't get how you can say 12.5 ISN'T fast. That's faster than almost every car he passes on his way to work. I'd def be happy with that.

Don't get me wrong its quick, but 12.5 is not mine blowing for the power he makes. I understand he wants to keep it a street car or watever but 300hp on a radial is pointless in my eyes, I have a street car that I drive everyday and would much rather run on slicks, street tires and torque don't really go well together when ur trying to put down a decent time. By no means am I bashing the car or the times it ran, car is still a monster regardless.

True 12.5 isn't mind blowing at all but perspective is everything. It's all about what context it's in. What did the winner of all motor comp car trap and what was the e.t.? The power I am making is in a heavy DC5 chassis that has a setup that is far from ideal for drag racing yet the car traps higher, is only a few tenths off and weighs more than the current, quickest, all motor RSX.
Sure to some 300whp on radials/street tires on the strip may be pointless but so is building an all motor RSX. It's what I had to start with though and it's what I'm doing and having fun with. If everyone went for the best setup and didn't do different things, different ways and with different cars it would be pretty boring. How long before we all got sick of all having boosted LSX powered FDs?

On a 125 shot I pulled a c6z06 two car lengths from 70-120... yet on a 100/150 two stage your white car left me 3 cars back. So tell me how can your new "390whp" car be anywhere close to that? probably because you're downplaying again...
anyone knows a cam + bolt on + tune c6 makes 450+ or its a turd. So either...
a) your new car is really 450whp+ on the motor and you could actually give me a run or...
b) you already have a kit on your new car and you're full of shit or...
c) your new car is really 390whp and you'd lose by a lot... because motor to motor, a 390whp vette will only walk me a car or two. The setup I ran your other car on would put a hurting on any stockish ls2/ls3 vette.

Making that much power out of a 4 banger is very impressive. Mid 12's with this setup is very impressive as well and will beat most cars on the street. I don't like honda's but the K series is pretty nice...

I do care about the track times but im in the same boat as the rsx . I could put my h2b kit with my 4.9 tranny in the car plus upgrade the suspension but then it would be to low geared to drive every day . Im not saying it cant be street drivin just wouldnt want to on a dailey basis like it is now. Id like the car to hit elevens which i se no problem with on a good track prep day then leave it alone . Ill then see what the new build will do but there again im not stripping the car and making it a track car . Even keeping ac on both cars and making sure they both stay over 30 mpg lol. Thats just what i want so thats what i do . I dont race enough events to have a car dedicated for just the track simple as that.

U guys got it all wrong. Nobody saying yall shouldn't do Wat u want, but the car should be setup to get the most out of it. I'm friends with moseley n Matt, n I told them straight that I didn't respect Wat they did at showdown by entering the street tire class, 1) because they outpowered everyone by FAR, 2) they can't show the true potential of the car. Then Matt explained to me that he has a goal of being the fastest rsx on street tires , which I can respect. I guess im just one for max power n fast times to go along with it. But ill still wait to see the car on slicks running like it should, sure it will do great

I see what your saying but seeing the way you looked at me when i told you what rpm i leave the line at also tells me you would love to see a pass out the blue car on a set of slicks that would handle a 7,000-7,500 rpm launch instead of the baby launches we do lol. I just enjoy not breaking shit all the time while still turning respectable times. I do beleive if there came a time that the track was hooking and i needed to launch at that rpm to win id do it but hell the last two events wouldnt hold a 5,000 rpm launch on brand new 23 inch slicks more or less a 7,000 rpm launch . In order to launch at 7,000 we would have to go to a lower gear tranny and a bigger slick bla,bla,bla just not worth it for that car .Il do what ever it takes to run the times i want to run with th new car.
