    ill be down here in phenix city visiting the "fastest 1/8th mile track in the south" where there is no real track prep and i have a dying t5 strapped to my motor maybe one day later this summer, after my swap ill come up there and play with you guys

    Damn put a shorter 1st gear in that vette and it would be in the mid-low 10s. he's giving up a lot. It's still bad ass though

    ... and if the next vette doesn't have an optional dual clutch tranny it will be a failure!

    on a 100 shot I'll put down 250-260 peak torque, but the average torque throughout a gear is probably 220lbs. so let's use conservative numbers and say I don't spray in 1st

    1st gear: 268% x 153lbs = 409lbs
    2nd gear: 250% x 220lbs = 551lbs
    3rd gear: 258% x 220lbs = 568lbs
    4th gear: 295% x 220lbs = 649lbs

    There is the AVERAGE torque (not peak) you'd need to be putting down in each gear to produce similar acceleration as the hatch on a 100 shot. Sure I didn't factor in mph and rpm and the fact that you might still be in 3rd while I'm in 4th... but gear for gear this is a rough estimate. If we were to line up in each gear and punch it this is about what you'd need to run even.

    Of course this is not all scientifically correct but it is the best ricer math I know.

    how are you liking that big heavy V8 now?

    assuming 23.8" tire for 1civic, still don't know thunder chicken's tire size so I used 25.7".... again this is all just a rough estimate

    1st gear: 277% x 148lbs = 410lbs
    2nd gear: 259% x 148lbs = 384lbs
    3rd gear: 260% x 148lbs = 385lbs
    4th gear: 264% x 148lbs = 390lbs

    The VTAK formula is secret and already baked in

    Well It was coming close to that time anyway, I'm expecting twins so I'm lookin into a srt8 jeep, thats one of my favorite vehicles so I'm on the hunt for one.

    lmao. I have a kid and he is deffently my life but you have to have a little fun to. Thats why ive been trying to tell him everytime he buys a car to buy him a nice dailey and build a paid for car to race . Its hard to race a car you owe over ten grand on and are scared of tearing up . I mean there is no way i could spray the shit out of a car that i owed that much money on knowing that i couldnt offered to buy a motor if i had to . He has actually made the best logical choice that he could . I beat he has dropped 10,000 in just swapping (not modding ) cars in the last year . Im not hating man by any means but fire fighters dont make that kind of money im sure your credit cards will appreciate this. Im also sure nobody on here would hate on your grown up choice if you hadnt been talking all this shit about racing and then decide to sell the car before you looked bad lmao.
