3rd gear: 258% x 220lbs = 568lbs
4th gear: 295% x 220lbs = 649lbs
There is the AVERAGE torque (not peak) you'd need to be putting down in each gear to produce similar acceleration as the hatch on a 100 shot. Sure I didn't factor in mph and rpm and the fact that you might still be in 3rd while I'm in 4th... but gear for gear this is a rough estimate. If we were to line up in each gear and punch it this is about what you'd need to run even.
Of course this is not all scientifically correct but it is the best ricer math I know.

Thats why ive been trying to tell him everytime he buys a car to buy him a nice dailey and build a paid for car to race . Its hard to race a car you owe over ten grand on and are scared of tearing up . I mean there is no way i could spray the shit out of a car that i owed that much money on knowing that i couldnt offered to buy a motor if i had to . He has actually made the best logical choice that he could . I beat he has dropped 10,000 in just swapping (not modding ) cars in the last year . Im not hating man by any means but fire fighters dont make that kind of money im sure your credit cards will appreciate this.
