Eventually I think they will become just as cheap as Bs or Hs. There are also more variations of Ks than the other motors, so there are tons of OEM parts to choose from.
K swaps can be done fairly cheap. not B or H cheap, but not much further off. Basically if you don't do K pro and like to do things yourself.
Base model RSX axles, fab up your own shifter mount, get a cheapo header, run a few wires yourself, do your own fuel line setup... it really isn't that expensive. I bet a K20A2 w/ 6spd could be swapped into a car for 4k everything included. Sure that is still more expensive than others but not bad I think to have a ~200whp completely reliable swap that can be built upon for a couple thousand more to easily make 230whp.
Ks are also great on maintenance. no distributor BS, super easy to work on. water pump and thermostat, all sensors, pulleys, etc. are very accessible. It really is a pleasure to wrench on those things. Every time I have to wrench on a B I get mad because it's all in the wrong place. bending over the car to work around the intake manifold. bleh.
Just had to add that in... Bobby maybe if you're hanging out with those guys you can wrench on a K swap a bit and I bet you'll understand what I'm saying!
