I went 12.9 @ 106 with a 1.8 60ft on street tires... Given the car at the time weighed 1610 with me in it...LMAO!

That's fast, but trap speed seems low but with 1.8 60 I can see that. Especially with the car weight.

Must have been really good tires. I tried everything from 2000-8000 rpms and it did not matter I couldn't cut anything faster than a 2.2 that night.

I think the fastest chunky got was a 2.1 and the import xpert cars barely got 2.0

Treadwear was like 140, Brigdestone tires.. Better night for Commerce since some 10.5 cars where there...LOL HEHE

You know I've heard the best day to go to commerce is the weekend before a v8 race or when you know a ton of v8s are going to be there. Free VHT

Yes, TNT before the NHRA stuff, V8 guys know the days, used to be the snap-on track days I think.. They work the track much better!! Really a waste of VHT when it's only 14sec cars on street tires racing..
