I mean ive seen the vids of PACMAN and all the cali racers, ive seen the 900whp EK civic from NY racing on the highway with full slicks blocking the entire interstate. Is it cool, yeah. Is it smart, not in my opinion. Its extremely dangerous to be doing those kind of speeds.

A track prepped surface is not the same as asphalt and i would advise against anyone doing it on the street from a pure safety standpoint. I had BFG Drag radials on my CRX, but i would NEVER EVER EVER agree to a dig run with slicks on the street.

but if you can find someone to do it, you got balls, and i hope you guys are safe
First of all most tracks are only concrete for the first 60 feet second of all most tracks are only really prepped for the first 60 feet. Third of all ive seen more accidents at the track than i have at any street races. But like you said you are entitled to your opinion, and im ok with that but you guys keep sayin "this is ATL" as if there is something special about it here... Its been done up north and out west for years, not because you dont get into the same trouble but because we realized that it can be done the right and you get into the same trouble no matter how you are doing it... So if you are gonna complain then just track race or dont race at all. Roll racin is just as dangerous and should not be taken lightly either.
