As far as the other states thing goes, I don't think there's any voodoo here in GA but it is humid and fairly high altitude in areas. Maybe that comes out to .1 or .2 in the 1/4 and a couple of mph trap speed. With that being said I think there are some fast cars here already. Don't expect to make a stock K run 11.60 down here like it can at sea level in dry air. and look at your uncorrected #s on the dyno because they probably suck and SAE power doesn't drive a car down a track.
